In the winter season especially, it is the absence of color that is most soothing. Tonal grays take on different hues - blues, lavenders, and greens. And sometimes tonal grays appear just as they were intended to be, a calming neautral.
Accents of charcoal or mahogony ground rooms that billow in shades of pastel shades of gray. Silvertones and whites are the ultimate compliment.
In the quiet of winter, being surrounded by shades of gray invites rest that will rejuvinate us in time for spring.

I love the shades of gray in the bedroom. You wouldn't think gray would necessarily be a good winter color but it's very appropriate in this room.
