There is an extra bedroom in my home that, as a result of the way I re-decorated it two years ago, my older son named "The Tea Room." It is feminine and flowery and is adorned in a palette of blue, yellow, and pink.
Last year I found a small white feather tree to take center stage in The Tea Room at Christmas time. My grandchildren have come to call this room The Tea Room, too, and we have brief but fun tea parties there nearly every time they visit. Last Mother's Day, my daughter-in-law gave to me three adorable tea ornaments, which I've included on the tree this year.
I love these miniature Christmas books I found years ago and think they are perfect for this tree.
During the Christmas season, rich reds and greens look best in my formal rooms. But white, pastels, and florals are best for all holidays in The Tea Room. I'm looking forward to adding to this new ornament collection for my white feather Christmas tree.
