The holiday season arrives this week and the hustle and bustle will soon begin. Between decorating, shopping, wrapping, and baking, there is quality time with family and friends to be stolen and treasured. Some families have designated a weekly game night. If yours is one of those families, keeping the tradition alive during the holiday season may be a bit of a challenge. On the other hand, the respite afforded to us on those evenings is a welcome change of pace, and perhaps even reason for families that currently don't have a game night to begin one!
Christmas is the time of year to gather with your loved ones. Families congregate anticipating laughter, good food, gift exchange, Christmas music, and good holiday entertainment. Holiday games are a great way to entertain all of your family members. Put on some Christmas music, whip up some eggnog, add some cookies, and throw on some Santa hats.
Then gather everyone together and play games like Charades, Christmas Trivia, and Christmas Bingo.
Be sure to check out this new version of bingo, Christmas style: Christmas Bingo.
Lighting the fire and staying cozy inside to watch favorite holiday movies or play games is the perfect mid-week activity. As Christmas takes shape around us, be sure to make time to rest at home with family and friends.
'Tis the season, let's relax and enjoy it!

I never thought of having a family game night centered with a holiday theme. It is a great idea!

What a great idea....we love playing games, but don't "theme" them to the holidays....I think we should start.
