Blue and white is a classic combination for home decor. Plates, paints, and fabrics in these two colors elicit timeless calmness.
Blue has been my favorite color for a long time and, for many years, the decor in almost every room in my home has included some shade of blue. Blue and white florals, toiles, and plaids are favorite fabrics and, with careful attention paid to scale, shade, and proportins, can all work together beautifully.
And even when the primary color of a room is not blue, I love accessorizing with it!
But in just the right shade, I love entire walls painted in blue, too.
Consider blue a neutral. Blue and white can conjure images of winter's snow and summer's picnics. It's timeless, and there's a shade of blue that compliments every other color in the rainbow.
Savor peace when surrounded by blue and white.

These photos are gorgeous! Blue and white is so serene and lovely, especially when it's done right. My husband is probably the only man on the planet who hates blue. He never wants me to use any blue in the house. But I love it and am thinking I may have to rebel soon and sneak some in here. :-)

Our dining room is painted blue and I absolutely love it. It's so lovely and very calming. Blue is one of my favorite colors, so it's in almost every room in our house.

I love blue, ... a light blue bathroom, dark grayish blue master bedroom and a blue front door in my house!
