There are a number of holiday home tours going on this week, and I'm having fun participating in them. Special thanks to your hostesses Julia at Hooked on Houses, Rhoda at Southern Hospitality, BooMama, Laurie at Tip Junkie, Kimba at A Soft Place to Land, Thrifty Decor Chicks and We Are THAT Family!
Welcome to my home! Christmas decorations were everywhere to be found in our home when I was growing up, thanks to my mother who grew up with very little. I've inherited the Christmas decorating gene from her and have carried on her tradition to have our family gather together at my house on Christmas Eve. This day has come to be my favorite day of the year.
Naturally there are stories to tell for each photograph below, but I'll simply invite you to tour my home room by room. Thank you so much for visiting me, and, if your home is on one of this week's tours, too, I look forward to visiting you!

Hi, Arleen! Thanks for joining my blog party and inviting us into your lovely home. Your tree is beautiful! It looks huge! I also like the little tree in the tea room--and ALL of your trees, actually.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! -Julia :-)
