I have always loved handpainted furniture, and I have a certain place in my home where I want to place just the right piece.

Larger pieces that are tole painted with botanicals, birds, or butterflies are refreshing and attractive.
* * * * *
But a small chest of drawers painted in two shades of the same color can be just as charming.

I love painted furniture. The amoire with the birds, butterflies and vines is my favorite piece...so very delicate yet such a large piece of furniture.
