It very rarely snows in the San Francisco Bay Area. So when I see photographs and images of gardens covered in soft white powder, I take a moment to enjoy the beauty. There is an icy shade of blue that sometimes accompanies the white; I always look for it because it is so soothing. I love winter blues and white, which is why my blog design for this season has changed to those colors.
There is an elegance that accompanies barren trees and bushes. The simplicity of the branches is beautiful, especially when dusted with snow.
Even the front gate, nestled in winter's blanket, still welcomes us home.
Nature provides such stunning beauty. We only need to stop for a moment to appreciate it, even if only in pictures.
To see what others are hooked on this week, please head over to Hooked on Houses where Julia is hosting another fun party. If you're visiting me by way of Julia's party, please let me know by leaving a comment. Happy Winter!
